ANSWER– IP cameras work with a network, needs ethernet connection, very good quality picture is produced. IP cameras can be used in some Hybrid DVR’s also like Geovision and Divisdvr. Analog cameras use BNC connection, Ip cameras use RJ45 connection usually with cat5 cables.
