If the LED is blue that means the status is normal, only when it is another color such as red then there would be a problem with the unit.

I have a issue and am looking for some assistance, I installed 2 brand new 6tb hard drives in the unit, and while I had it on the workbench I figured I’d connect the camera’s to it and check it out. Everything started fine, went through the start up procedure set things up and all was fine. Formatted the hard drives with the NVR and it was recording. Everything seems great.
Then I notice on the front of the unit there is the blue LED for status is lit, I refer to that part in the manual that is on the cd, and it tells me there is a malfunction. I looked in the log in the NVR, I don’t see anything that would indicate something malfunctioned. I set the unit to self reboot, and when it did, I noticed that it was out during the reboot process, and once it completed there was a beep and the LED was lit again. Like I said, there appears to be no malfunction. There is no trouble shooting information on the cd that came with the unit. I am wondering if there is a firmware update that might be needed,
or if there is a trouble shooting manual available.
